In the 12th century near Florence, a plague-stricken kingdom ruled by a tyrant was filled with monsters and magic. A lonely carpenter, Geppetto, found a talking log and carved it into Pinocchio, a rebellious puppet. Chasing the dream of tasting the noble delicacy gelato, Pinocchio ran away and met a greedy king, then two deceivers, the Cat and the Fox, who lured him to the Land of Toys. Realizing too late that Geppetto had gone to sea to find him, Pinocchio braved a deadly monster to save his father, proving his courage and love.
